The Land Transport Regulatory Authority and freight transport offices in Al-Hodeidah Governorate today organized a commemorative event marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan “At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.”
During the event, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri highlighted the spiritual and religious significance of commemorating the Prophet’s birth, affirming that it is an occasion to strengthen attachment to the Noble Messenger, renew the pledge to follow his path, and draw inspiration from his values and stances in confronting forces of tyranny and arrogance.
He described the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday in Yemen as a strong rebuke to the forces of disbelief from the colonial West and the deviant movements that seek to distort Islam, foremost among them Wahhabism and its followers. He stressed that the occasion reflects the authentic identity of the nation and its awareness of the dangers posed by the war on its values.
Al-Bishri noted that the annual celebrations of the blessed Prophet’s birthday in Yemen carry glad tidings of victory and liberation, providing the nation with spiritual and moral momentum that strengthens its steadfastness in the struggle for freedom. He added that through this commemoration, the people of Yemen present scenes of loyalty and support that transcend words.
