Sana'a - Saba:
The activities commemorating the blessed anniversary of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) were launched in several districts of Sana'a Governorate, including New Sana'a, Sanhan, Bani Bahlul, Hamdan, Jihana, and Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah.

During the inauguration ceremony in New Sana'a, attended by Governorate Undersecretary Ahmed Al-Samat, District Affairs Director Ahmed Rajih, and District Court Chief Judge Khaled Shamsuddin, Mujahid Al-Shalibi, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, emphasized that the Prophet’s Birthday is a grand occasion that renews loyalty to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and reinforces the values of guidance and mercy he brought. He stressed that this anniversary revives in souls the meanings of dignity and honor.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Al-Salami, Director of the District’s Office of Economy and Industry, highlighted that adhering to the Prophetic path ensures the nation’s strength and resilience. He noted that this year’s commemoration coincides with Yemen’s steadfast defense of its land and dignity, alongside its unwavering support for the Palestinian people against Zionist aggression.

Activist Fares Al-Matari urged residents to celebrate the occasion in mosques, schools, and public gatherings, stating that such events frustrate the enemies of the nation. The ceremony was attended by District Education Officer Fahd Murshid and several social figures.

In Sanhan and Bani Bahlul, District Director Ahmed Othman and executive office leaders attended an event where Taha Al-Hadhari, Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association, emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday through activities that strengthen faith and connection to the Prophet (PBUH). He praised the Yemeni people’s unique devotion to the Prophet and their defense of the nation’s causes.

In Jihana, officials stressed drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and called for dignified celebrations reflecting the Yemeni people’s love for their Messenger.

In Hamdan, activist Ibrahim Hameeduddin highlighted the significance of renewing allegiance to the Prophet (PBUH), while cultural activist Mahdi Al-Najjar emphasized deriving lessons of dignity and strength from his life.

In Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah, a speech event at Al-Qadum Mosque underscored the importance of the occasion in exposing hypocrites and reinforcing love for the Prophet (PBUH). Officials called for serious engagement in activities that embody true love for the Prophet through following his guidance.

The events featured speeches, poetry, and religious reflections, reaffirming Yemen’s commitment to the Prophet’s legacy.
