The Security Directorate of Dhamar Governorate organized on Saturday a preparatory and awareness-raising event in commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday (peace , blessings be upon him and his family).
During the event, the Governorate’s Security Director, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Mahdi, emphasized that the Prophet’s Birthday is an opportunity to draw lessons from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), strengthen our connection to him, emulate his morals and virtues, reflect these values in our actions and interactions with society.
He called for organizing events to celebrate the Prophet’s Birthday across security units, agencies, and district security offices, noting the opening of 50 centers for "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses, specifically for security personnel, coinciding with this religious occasion.
Brigadier General Al-Mahdi stressed the need to redouble efforts in maintaining security and stability, enhancing security vigilance, and raising preparedness to counter any enemy plots, praising the community’s awareness and cooperation with security forces.
For his part, the Director of Moral Guidance at the Governorate’s Security Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel Ismail Mutahar, highlighted the importance of commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday to reflect on the life of the Chosen Prophet (PBUH) and draw lessons of dignity, honor, strength in confronting tyrants and oppressors.
He noted that the Seal of the Prophets and the Leader of the Nation is the best role model in morals, deeds, in the military and jihad fields.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Ismail Al-Washli, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, spoke about the noble qualities of the Great Prophet, his generosity, courage, and steadfastness against the enemies of Allah.
He urged following the Prophet’s example, adhering to his path, and embodying the teachings and principles of his message in daily life.
