President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat sent on Friday a message of condolences on the death of prominent poet and literary figure Karim al-Hanki, who passed away at 65 after a lifetime of national and cultural contributions.
The President praised al-Hanki’s role in the cultural front during the U.S.-Saudi aggression and his firm support for Palestine, describing him as a literary giant who remained unwavering in his national and principled stance.
