Al Khalil – SABA:
Armed Israeli settlers carried out a series of provocative and threatening actions on Thursday in several areas of Masafer Yatta, south of Al Khalil, near Palestinian homes.
According to activist Osama Makhameira, speaking to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), a group of armed settlers organized a march and held a provocative gathering in the Hamra area, close to Palestinian homes in the village of At-Tuwani. They also erected a tent-like structure (arisha) on privately owned Palestinian land.
In Wadi al-Rakhim and the village of Susiya, settlers conducted provocative patrols around and between Palestinian homes, shouting profanities and slurs at the residents.
In Shaab al-Butum, settlers stormed the vicinity of the home of Palestinian citizen Mohammed al-Jabareen in an aggressive and threatening manner, causing fear and panic among the women and children in the household.
These repeated settler attacks and provocations are part of a broader pattern of intimidation aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians from Masafer Yatta, an area repeatedly targeted for annexation by the Israeli military and settler organizations.
