Several Palestinian civilians were killed and wounded by Israeli fire and shelling in several areas of the Gaza Strip from midnight last night until Thursday morning.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that four citizens, including two girls, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on an apartment in the Al-Salhi Tower west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
WAFA added that four other citizens were killed, in addition to a number of injuries, in an Israeli airstrike targeting an apartment belonging to the Al-Hadeedi family in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City. Three citizens were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the Zaqout family home near the Al-Nour Al-Mohammadi Mosque in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City.
In Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, a citizen, his wife, and his children were killed as a result of Israeli shelling of their home in the western camp west of the city. A girl was also killed and others were wounded in a shelling that targeted a tent near the Dream Hall west of the city. Two women were also killed when an Israeli drone bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons west of Khan Younis. In the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, five civilians were killed and others wounded while waiting for aid east of the city, as a result of being targeted by the Israeli army after midnight last night.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 61,158 Palestinian martyrs and 151,442 wounded, including 1,655 children. The number of wounded has reached 11,800 among those waiting for aid, and 193 have died, including 96 children, as a result of famine and malnutrition.
