Moscow - Saba: The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Tuesday that it had thwarted an assassination attempt on the CEO of the Belgorod Defense Industries Corporation (BDS) and opened a case of "high treason" against a pro-Ukrainian agent.
Sputnik quoted the FSB as saying in a statement: "It was found that the Russian citizen contacted a representative of a pro-Ukrainian terrorist organization banned in Russia via Telegram. Upon his instructions, the representative arrived in the Trubchevsky District of Bryansk Oblast to receive firearms and explosives from a drone. These weapons were later intended to be used to target the general director of a defense industry enterprise in Belgorod."
