
Al-Mahwit – Saba:
President of Al-Mahwit University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalabi, conducted an inspection visit today to review the clinical training of fourth-year students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Republican Teaching Hospital in Al-Mahwit.
Accompanied by the hospital’s director, Dr. Hamid Al-Sadiq, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. Fouad Al-Saidi, Deputy Dean Dr. Jamal Al-Saidi, Secretary General of the University Abdul Latif Al-Akhram, Assistant Secretary General and Cultural Advisor to the President Khaled Al-Qozhi, and Director of Projects Engineer Mohammed Al-Areeji, Dr. Al-Shalabi toured several hospital departments to assess the training environment, equipment, and practical application opportunities for students.
On the sidelines of the visit, an extended meeting was held including university leadership, hospital management, and senior medical staff. The discussions focused on enhancing academic and clinical cooperation, improving training quality, developing joint medical education programs, evaluating student performance, and equipping dedicated training halls.
The meeting also explored proposals to upgrade the clinical training environment to improve the quality of medical education and outcomes at the university’s medical faculty.
