Diyarbakir - Saba:

A demonstration took place in the provinces of Diyarbakır and Siirt, southeastern Turkey, to protest the genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli entity against Palestinians in Gaza.

According to the Turkish Anadolu Agency, the demonstrators gathered on Fırat Street in the Kayapinar district and marched, carrying Palestinian flags, toward a shopping center on the road between the provinces of Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa.

The demonstrators chanted takbirs and chanted anti-Israel slogans.

In a statement delivered by the head of the Diyarbakır branch of the Public Sector Employees Union, Ramazan Tekdemir, he emphasized that their participation in the demonstration was aimed at "standing firm in the face of the oppressors."

He added that their goal is to push countries to take action to stop the brutal attacks targeting children, women, the sick, and innocent civilians in Gaza.

He said, "The famine occurring in Gaza is being used as a weapon of genocide by the occupying entity. One in three people in Gaza cannot find food."

In Siirt province, the "Akhbar al-Rasul Association" organized a demonstration on Goris Street, denouncing the war of extermination in Gaza.

Anadolu Agency reported that the demonstrators held up a banner reading, "Be a light from Siirt to Gaza."
