McLaren's British driver Lando Norris secured victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday outperforming championship leader and teammate Oscar Piastri who finished second at the Hungaroring circuit.
The win marked McLaren's historic 200th Formula 1 victory while achieving their fourth consecutive 1-2 finish this season.
Mercedes' George Russell completed the podium in third place while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc from Monaco settled for fourth after leading the race initially.
Norris' strategic one-stop pit strategy proved decisive as he crossed the finish line less than a second ahead of Piastri narrowing the championship gap to just nine points before Formula 1's summer break.
