Ramallah – Saba:
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) condemned Sunday the Israeli attack that killed Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) paramedic Omar Mansour Aslim and injured two colleagues when their clearly-marked Khan Younis facility was shelled overnight.
In a statement received by Quds Press the ICRC expressed "outrage" noting the victims were performing humanitarian duties in a building prominently displaying the Red Crescent emblem.
The ICRC emphasized PRCS's critical role providing lifesaving aid to Gaza's devastated communities calling this incident part of a 21-month pattern that has killed/injured multiple PRCS teams and other humanitarian workers.
