Sana’a - Saba:
Traffic Police Chief Maj. Gen. Bakil al-Barashi launched a campaign on Saturday to seize violating motorcycles in the capital and several provinces, following a month-long awareness drive.
The campaign targets unregistered bikes and reckless violations like riding against traffic, ignoring signals, carrying multiple passengers, and unsafe driving.
Al-Barashi stressed the goal is to protect lives and property, urging riders to regularize their status. Authorities ordered dealerships to sell only registered bikes with safety gear.
