Jenin – SABA:

Israeli occupation forces seized 13 dunams (approximately 3.2 acres) of agricultural land in the village of Dhaher al-Abed in Jenin Governorate on Friday.

Jihad Amarna, the landowner, told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that Israeli forces marked his family’s land with orange signs and began bulldozing it to pave a new settler road. He stated that bulldozers started constructing the road from the illegal outpost built on the hills of Khirbet Masoud, cutting through his confiscated property.

Last week, Israeli bulldozers began clearing land in Khirbet Masoud—located near Dhaher al-Abed west of Jenin—to expand the hilltop settler outpost established in 2019. Amarna added that settlers regularly harass local farmers, release livestock into agricultural areas, and engage in acts of vandalism and violence.

Khirbet Masoud, part of the Zabda village council, consists of three small communities: Iraq al-Duwar, Khirbet Faris, and Khirbet al-Qusour, with a total population of around 350 residents.

Israeli forces have been systematically bulldozing land around the outpost and seizing dozens of dunams of farmland in an area stretching from Qaffin to the Yabad highlands in southern Jenin.
