Dhamar – SABA:
A woman died and several others were injured on Friday in Al-Manar District, Dhamar Governorate, following a rockslide in Naqil Bani Salama caused by heavy rainfall and flooding.
A local source told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that the collapse resulted in the death of livestock, damage to heavy, medium, and light vehicles, and a complete blockage of both the main and secondary roads leading to the district center, Hammam Ali, halting traffic entirely.
Rescue teams—including civil defense, health responders, traffic police, and equipment from the Roads Maintenance Fund and local authorities in Al-Manar, Doran, and Jabal Al-Sharq—rushed to the scene to assist the injured, clear debris, and reopen the main route.
The source urged drivers and road users to exercise caution and follow traffic advisories due to continued heavy rain in the area.
