Nasser Medical Complex: Aid Entering Gaza Does Not Reach Those Who Deserve It
[01/ August/2025]

Gaza - Saba:
Ahmed Al-Farra, director of the Children's Hospital at Nasser Medical Complex, said that the aid entering the Gaza Strip is merely a smokescreen and does not reach those who deserve it.

In press statements on Friday, Al-Farra stressed the need to allow the entry of baby formula and basic supplies.

He added, "Aid must reach the warehouses of international organizations known for their transparent distribution."

The World Food Programme indicated that one in three people in Gaza spends days without food, adding that "75% are facing emergency levels of hunger."

He explained that approximately 25% of the population of the Gaza Strip is suffering from famine-like conditions.

Since March 2, 2025, the Israeli occupation authorities have closed all crossings with the Gaza Strip and prevented the entry of most food and medical aid, causing famine to spread within the Strip.
