Palestinian Civil Society Organizations Invite Witkoff to Visit Gaza Hospitals
[01/ August/2025]

Gaza - Saba:
Palestinian civil society organizations have invited US envoy Steve Witkoff to visit hospitals in Gaza, which have partially resumed operations after their destruction. These hospitals are overcrowded with starving patients.

In a letter sent to the US envoy on Friday, the organizations explained that hospitals are suffering from a severe shortage of medicines, health supplies, and medical and technical staff.

They called on Witkoff to visit sewage plants and water wells, which the enemy has not allowed to operate, given its deliberate policy of spreading disease and epidemics, as well as depriving people of water, a historical precedent that even barbarians and Nazis would not have dared to undertake.

They invited him to meet with 5,000 children who have lost limbs as a result of the bombs and missiles his administration provides to the Israeli enemy, and with tens of thousands of orphans and widows.

The organizations affirmed their rejection of this visit, as long as its sole purpose is to improve the image of the enemy and to take a snapshot to change the mood of international public opinion, which has come to realize the truth that you have long tried to conceal. She noted that 1,200 Palestinian citizens have been killed in front of these centers since they began operating, by soldiers stationed in their vicinity.

She said, "His visit must culminate in an announcement of the closure of these centers, which have become detention and mass killing camps. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation must then be held accountable for presenting a horrific image of the concept of food, aid, and humanity as a whole."
