Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects scattered rain across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity, possibly accompanied by hail, are expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahwit, south and west of Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Dhale'a, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwah.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely in parts of the governorates of Taiz, Bayda, western Jawf, the highlands of the Tihama plain, and the Hadhramaut and Al Mahrah plateaus.
Winds may be strong to very strong around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Al Mahwit over the past 24 hours was 15.2 mm, Hajjah 3 mm, Saada 2.5 mm, As-Saddah-Ibb 0.2 mm, and Al-Koud-Abyan 0.1 mm.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms, staying in or crossing over ground bridges and flood channels during and after rainfall and flash floods, and of mud and rock slides on mountain roads.
It also warned seagoers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the eastern and southern coasts.
