Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening closed the main road in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, and raided several areas in the Ramallah district.
According to Rami Hamamrah, head of Husan’s village council (speaking to WAFA news agency), Israeli forces stormed the village, positioning themselves in the al-Muteina and al-Shurafa areas at the eastern entrance. They blocked the main road and halted all vehicle traffic.
Earlier in the day, Israeli forces also raided the town of Silwad, and the villages of Abu Falah and Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that troops, accompanied by Israeli police, stationed themselves near the home of Hussein Hamed in Silwad—a house targeted earlier by Israeli settlers, who attempted to set it on fire after torching four vehicles nearby.
In Abu Falah, Israeli forces stormed the village just hours after settlers attacked it, burning a car.
Eyewitnesses reported clashes following the incursion into Kafr Malik, during which Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas at residents.
