Gaza - Saba:
Twelve Palestinian citizens, most of them children and women, were martyred today, Thursday, as a result of the continued Israeli enemy shelling on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency “WAFA” reported that five citizens, including a family consisting of a father, mother, and their two children, were martyred after an enemy drone targeted a tent in the center of Deir al-Balah city. They were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
WAFA mentioned that ambulance crews recovered three martyrs and four injured after the Israeli enemy bombed an apartment belonging to the Salfiti family in Abu Al-Hussain building in Jabalia, north of Gaza City. They were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in the western part of the city.
It also pointed out that three citizens, including two children, were martyred after an occupation drone targeted tents for the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis. They were transferred to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.
In the same context, Israeli enemy forces opened heavy fire toward hundreds of Palestinian citizens gathered at an aid distribution point in the central Gaza Strip, leading to the martyrdom of one citizen and the injury of others with varying degrees of wounds.
The Israeli enemy forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 60,138 Palestinian citizens and the injury of 146,269 others.
