Twenty Palestinian citizens were martyred today, Thursday, including 15 who were waiting for aid, as a result of the Israeli enemy targeting them in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency "WAFA" reported that five citizens were martyred after an enemy drone targeted a tent near the Hayat camp west of Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
WAFA added that 15 citizens were martyred and 65 others were injured, most of them children, as a result of Israeli enemy forces targeting gatherings of Palestinian citizens near the aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza area in the central part of the Strip.
Palestinian medical sources had announced yesterday that the death toll of those waiting for aid and who arrived at hospitals had risen to 1,239 martyrs and more than 8,152 injured.
The Israeli enemy forces continue their military aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the martyrdom of 60,138 Palestinian citizens and the injury of 146,269 others.
