The Belgian Public Prosecution decided today, Thursday, to refer the files of two “Israeli” soldiers who were detained in the country to the International Criminal Court, based on complaints related to their committing war crimes in Gaza.
The prosecution said in a statement: “The Hind Rajab Foundation, based in Brussels, submitted two complaints against two ‘Israeli’ soldiers who came to the city of Boom, Belgium, to participate in the ‘Tomorrowland’ festival on July 18 and 19.”
It added: “After reviewing the complaint, the prosecution decided to refer the files of the two soldiers to the International Criminal Court, within the framework of Belgium’s international obligations and in order to ensure the proper course of justice.”
The Hind Rajab Foundation had announced in a statement dated July 21 that the Belgian police had detained two “Israeli” soldiers and investigated them over complaints of committing war crimes in Gaza.
