Tehran - Saba:

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf stressed that the Zionist entity will continue its attacks on Islamic countries, emphasizing that the occupying entity seeks to divide Islamic countries, and therefore must be confronted firmly.

The Iranian news agency, IRNA, reported that Qalibaf's statement came during his meeting with the Speaker of the Pakistani National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, on the sidelines of the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of World Parliaments, held last Wednesday evening in Geneva.

The two sides stressed the need for rapprochement between Islamic countries to confront the conspiracies of the Zionist entity.

During the meeting, Qalibaf praised Pakistan's stance in condemning the recent aggression by the Zionist entity and the United States against Iran, as well as Pakistan's bilateral cooperation with Iran.

Qalibaf emphasized the need for harmony and cooperation between Islamic countries, saying, "These countries must prevent the aggravation of the conditions prevailing in Gaza and Palestine. Otherwise, what is happening now in Syria will eventually be replicated in other countries."

As for the Speaker of the Pakistani National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, he congratulated the Iranian people for their resistance and unity against the aggressive actions of the Zionist entity, saying, "Following this aggression, Pakistan passed a resolution against 'Israel' in parliament, and this represents the position of the government and people of Pakistan." He praised Iran's diplomatic efforts to end the escalation between India and Pakistan, saying, "The last two wars involving Pakistan and Iran revealed the positions of many countries." Sadiq said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran's response to the Zionist entity's aggression shattered the myth of the Iron Dome."
