[30/ July/2025]
Sana'a - Saba:
September 21 University for Medical and Applied Sciences in Sana'a organized on Wednesday a solidarity stand in support of the Palestinian people, condemning the crimes of killing, starvation, and genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Gaza. The protest was held under the slogan: "With our Armed Forces, we will not let Gaza die of hunger."

Participants in the protest, led by university officials, faculty members, staff, and students, raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans denouncing the ongoing atrocities of the Zionist entity in committing the most heinous crimes of genocide, killing, and starvation against Gaza’s population amid international silence , shameful Arab and Islamic inaction.

They declared full mobilization and readiness to engage in the battle of "the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad" within the framework of the fourth phase of escalation announced by the Yemeni Armed Forces. They also expressed their preparedness to support the Mujahideen in Gaza in confronting the Zionist enemy, in response to Allah’s call, as a sacred struggle in His path, and in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and their just cause.

A statement issued during the protest called on Arab governments to respond to the call of the Revolution Leader, urging them to open crossings for the Yemeni people to join the jihad alongside their brothers in Gaza and Palestine and to fight the nation’s decisive battle against the criminal Zionist enemy until victory is achieved.

The statement strongly condemned the continued inaction and silence of Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the crimes of starvation and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, as well as the violation of the nation’s sanctities in full view of the world.

It renewed the call for Arab and Islamic peoples, especially scholars, academics, and university students, to fulfill their duty, break the cycle of silence and betrayal, and support their brothers who are dying of hunger and thirst in the Gaza Strip while facing the most horrific crimes of genocide. It also rejected the "Crime of the Century" and the violation of the nation’s sanctities.

The statement affirmed the university’s commitment to continuing its awareness and protest campaigns in support of Gaza and its people, emphasizing that the Yemeni people will not remain idle in the face of the ongoing war crimes and systematic starvation against their brothers in Palestine.
