The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, in cooperation with the Hazm Al-Odain Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Association and in coordination with the local authority in Hazm Al-Odain District, has launched the distribution of a quantity of cement contributed by the Unit to support community initiative projects in the district of Hazm, Ibb province.
During the launch—part of the Community Initiatives Support Program implemented by the Unit—the disbursement team emphasized that the support comes in line with directives from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local and Rural Development, aiming to encourage community involvement in adopting development projects.
The Unit also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Hazm Al-Odain Cooperative Association in fulfilling its assigned tasks and achieving its founding goals.
For his part, the Chairman of the Hazm Al-Odain Association, Rashid Al-Awadi, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Local and Rural Development leadership for their ongoing support to community initiative projects through the Interventions Unit. He also called for increased support to address existing needs, particularly in road infrastructure, water, and agriculture.
