The Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Ali Mahdi, emphasized the vital role taxpayers play in supporting the state’s efforts to implement service and development projects.
During his meeting today with representatives of telecommunications companies, Dr. Mahdi noted that taxpayers embody a national stance in strengthening and developing partnership mechanisms, especially amid the ongoing aggression and blockade faced by the country.
He affirmed the authority’s commitment to providing various facilities to taxpayers by simplifying tax and customs procedures, thereby enhancing the existing partnership with the private sector.
Dr. Mahdi pointed out that the authority will work to resolve any obstacles and streamline all procedures in accordance with the applicable tax and customs laws.
