Bayda governor Abdullah Idris launched on Wednesday the stone paving project in Bayda city.
The project, worth 47 million Y.R, is funded by the local authority and covers an area of 2,500 square meters.
During the launch, governor and Member of the Shura Council Abdullah al-Muzaffari were briefed on the project's details.
The project involves stone paving and construction of drainage channels to reduce congestion, traffic accidents, and improve the city's appearance.
The Governor emphasized the local authority's commitment to improving public services and alleviating citizens' suffering.
He noted that the stone paving and road rehabilitation projects are part of a package of development projects being implemented in the governorate.
The governor urged the contractors to complete the project according to the specified engineering standards and timeline.
