Sana'a - Saba:
First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Muftah met today with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Capital Sana'a, Ali al-Hadi, his deputy, Mohammed Salah, and a group of businessmen and traders.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance and develop the vital national role of the private sector in development, construction, and community service, especially after the issuance of the new 2025 Investment Law and its incentives and benefits.
The meeting also addressed a number of issues and challenges facing the sector and mechanisms for joint action to address or mitigate them, taking into account the current circumstances facing the country, including aggression and blockade.
Mifah praised the significant role played by the private sector and traders during the years of aggression and blockade, their steadfastness and responsible resolve, and their provision of basic needs to the Yemeni people. He emphasized the government's commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector and enhancing its role in serving the nation's social and economic development.
