Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered rain across parts of several provinces, along with strong winds that will cause rough seas over the next 24 hours.

The center reported in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity, some of which may be accompanied by hail, are expected across parts of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Dhale'a, and Lahj.

Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely across parts of the provinces of Mahwit, Bayda, Al Mahrah, and the highlands of Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramaut, as well as the Tihama plain.

According to the center, winds may be strong to very strong around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.

The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Lahj over the past 24 hours was 2.4 mm, Ibb-As-Saddah: 0.6 mm, and Amran: 0.2 mm.

Rainfall of varying intensity fell on parts of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, and Taiz, but was outside the stations' range.

The center warned citizens of the dangers of thunderstorms and hail, and of staying in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.

It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the eastern and southern coasts.
