The Sultanate of Oman's trade balance recorded a surplus of OMR 2.454 billion by the end of May 2025, a 38.5 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2024, which recorded a surplus of OMR 3.989 billion.
Preliminary statistics issued by the Omani National Centre for Statistics and Information on Tuesday showed a 9.6 percent decrease in the total value of merchandise exports, reaching OMR 9.639 billion by the end of May 2025, compared to OMR 10.659 billion during the same period in 2024, according to the Oman News Agency.
