Real Madrid has officially announced the loan of midfielder Mario Martín to Getafe during the ongoing summer transfer window.
In a statement released today, the club confirmed it had reached an agreement with Getafe for a one-season loan deal that will keep Martín at the club until June 30, 2026.
The 21-year-old previously spent last season on loan at Real Valladolid, where he made 30 appearances and impressed with his performances, drawing interest from several other clubs.
Real Madrid finished second in last season’s La Liga standings with 84 points, just four behind champions Barcelona, while Getafe ended the season in 13th place with 42 points.
