Tehran - Saba:
Iran denied on Tuesday allegations of its interference in the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, in response to US President Donald Trump's statements on the matter.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei was quoted by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) as saying, "The allegation of Iran's interference in the relevant negotiations is completely baseless," in response to Trump's statements regarding Iran's interference in the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza.
Baghaei emphasized that such allegations are a form of projection and evasion of responsibility and accountability for America's complicity in the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people, including the killing of 60,000 innocent people, including women and children, the tightening of the blockade of the Gaza Strip in recent months, the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the Strip, and the killing of hungry and thirsty civilians in death traps in so-called aid distribution centers established by an American company.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman advised American officials to stop sending lethal weapons to the occupying regime, compel it to halt the genocide, and allow the entry and respectful distribution of humanitarian aid through internationally recognized mechanisms in order to establish a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and save civilian lives.
Baghhaei said, "Iran, along with all countries, strongly condemns the genocide in Gaza and supports any process that would lead to the cessation of crimes and alleviate the suffering of the oppressed people of Gaza."
Baghhaei emphasized that Hamas negotiators are aware of and seek to achieve the interests of the oppressed people of Gaza in the most appropriate manner and do not need interference.Third parties in this regard.
