Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on Tuesday for an escalation of global mass protests on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (August 1, 2, and 3), and throughout the coming days, against the continued Zionist aggression, genocide, and starvation in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the movement said, "Let Sunday, August 3, be an international day to support Gaza, Quds, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the prisoners in Palestine, in fulfillment and response to the call of the martyr of Palestine and the nation, leader Ismail Haniyeh (Abu al-Abd)."
The Movement also called on the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world, to continue the global popular movement in all cities, squares, and capitals around the world, through mass marches and angry demonstrations against the ongoing Zionist aggression, genocide, and systematic starvation of more than two million Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.
It called for the escalation of all forms of demonstrations and sit-ins in front of Zionist and American embassies, and the embassies of countries supporting the enemy, throughout the world, until the Zionist aggression and starvation against children, women, the sick, and innocent civilians ceases.
The Movement said, "It is a sign of loyalty to the honorable Gaza Strip and to the blood and sacrifices of the great martyr leaders. On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the mujahid leader Ismail Haniyeh (Abu al-Abd), we commemorate his call and recall his appeal to our nation and to the free people of the world, to make Sunday, August 3, a national, Arab, Islamic, and international day of support for Gaza, Quds, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the prisoners in Palestine. We must continue our mobilization and exert all forms of political, diplomatic, and popular pressure until the war of extermination and starvation against our people in the Gaza Strip stops."
