Yuriy Slyusar, the acting governor of Russia's Rostov Oblast, announced early Tuesday that a car driver was killed in a drone attack by Kyiv regime forces on the town of Salsk in the region.
Sputnik quoted Slyusar as saying on his Telegram channel: "A car was damaged on Ostrovsky Street, and unfortunately, its driver died. The identity of the deceased is being determined."
Slyusar added: "Information is being clarified about the consequences of the enemy's air attack."
Ukrainian armed forces target Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh oblasts almost daily with drones and missiles.
For their part, Russian forces respond by targeting exclusively Ukrainian military infrastructure, as well as facilities of the military-industrial complex and everything related to the storage, repair, or manufacture of military equipment, and centers for the assembly of Ukrainian armed forces personnel and foreign mercenaries.
