The General Mobilization Department in the Capital Secretariat organized an expanded meeting on Monday with scholars, preachers, intellectuals, educational and social elites in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to launch the commemoration events for the anniversary of the arrival of Imam Al-Hadi to the Truth, Yahya bin Al-Hussein (peace be upon him), to Yemen for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan "Gaza Calls Upon You."
During the launch, members of the Yemeni Scholars Association (Saleh Al-Khawlani, Scholar Mahdi Al-Atani, Scholar Muhammad Al-Hakim, and Scholar Dr. Ahmed Al-Khazan) emphasized the importance of connecting with Imam Al-Hadi, following his noble path and traits in confronting injustice and tyranny, and standing with the oppressed.
They highlighted Imam Al-Hadi’s humility, stature, courage, and dedication to correcting the nation’s course, as well as his sacrifices and steadfastness in facing the tyrants of his time.
The scholars stressed the need to revive Imam Al-Hadi’s legacy today, study his biography, and embody the values and principles he upheld in confronting falsehood, reinforcing faith-based identity, and calling for enjoining good and forbidding evil.
They noted that Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) established a strong state recognized by history, despite attempts by the enemies of the nation to distort and erase his legacy.
They affirmed the importance of following the path of the guiding scholars and reviving the memory of Imam Al-Hadi’s arrival in Yemen to instill a culture of sacrifice and jihad in the cause of God, defending Islam and sacred values, and supporting truth.
For his part, the Director of Guidance in the Capital Secretariat, Dr. Qais Al-Tal, stressed the importance of linking the nation’s current reality with Imam Al-Hadi’s stances, justice, and principles in reforming the nation, confronting the enemies of Islam, and drawing lessons to correct the nation’s course and counter threats.
He highlighted the bright aspects of Imam Al-Hadi’s journey to Yemen, how he united the nation under the word of truth, and his achievements in establishing a state of justice and equality, making Sa'ada the capital of his rule.
Dr. Al-Tal pointed out that Imam Al-Hadi Yahya bin Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) presented a shining model for establishing a state governed by divine law, promoting justice, truth, equality, providing solutions in economic and social spheres.
He also reviewed the directives for the events to be held in the Capital Secretariat, which will highlight the reasons for Imam Al-Hadi’s call to Yemen, his biography, stages of his life, his struggle against oppressors and tyrants.
