The disbursement of the seventh batch of cement and diesel to support community initiative projects in several districts of Sana'a Governorate was launched on Sunday.
This batch includes 6,330 bags of cement and 52,000 liters of diesel, funded by the Central Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support priority community projects that enhance service quality and promote community participation in local development.
During the launch, Abdulghani Dawood, the Governorate Undersecretary, emphasized the importance of this disbursement in stimulating local development, completing ongoing projects, and launching new initiatives that address citizens' needs.
Eng. Osama Al-Shami, the representative of the Central Interventions Unit in the governorate, praised the local communities' engagement with the projects, stressing the need for continuous follow-up to ensure implementation quality and sustainable developmental impact.
Meanwhile, Eng. Mohammed Al-Nazari, Director of Community Initiatives in the governorate, highlighted the pivotal role of the Central Interventions Unit in meeting development requirements and mobilizing community efforts to participate in implementing service and developmental projects.
