Gaza - Saba:
Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, urged the public on Sunday not to be swayed by propaganda regarding the entry of aid into Gaza.
He emphasized that talk of a humanitarian truce is unrealistic and merely promotional.
In press statements, Basal reported that over 60 people had been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since dawn on Sunday.
He added that the amount of aid entering Gaza is extremely limited, with only around ten trucks having entered the Strip today.
Basal explained that the airdropping of aid into Gaza is ineffective, describing the current situation as tragic.
He called for allowing United Nations organizations to oversee the entry and distribution of aid in Gaza.
