German Chancellor Friedrich Merz described the humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip as "catastrophic" on Sunday.
In a statement, the German Chancellor urged Benjamin Netanyahu, the wanted war criminal sought by the International Criminal Court, to allow humanitarian aid to reach "starving civilians" in Gaza urgently.
