Arsenal announced today, Sunday, the signing of Swedish international striker Victor Gyokeris from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon in a major transfer deal considered one of the most prominent summer transfers in the English Premier League.
The club explained in an official statement that the 26-year-old player signed a contract extending until the summer of 2030 and will wear the number (14) shirt, which has been worn by a number of the club's most prominent players throughout its history, most notably the famous French striker Thierry Henry.
