Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said the Zionist enemy's resort to airdropping some aid over areas of the Gaza Strip is nothing more than a formal and deceptive step aimed at whitewashing its image before the world. It is also an attempt to circumvent the rights of the Palestinian people to lift the blockade and the demands of the international community and free peoples to halt the starvation policy pursued by the terrorist government of war criminal Netanyahu.
The movement said in a press statement, Sunday, received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the urgent arrival of food and medicine and the flow of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is a natural right to halt the humanitarian catastrophe imposed by the Nazi enemy.
It added that the enemy's plan for airdrops and control of so-called humanitarian corridors represents a blatant policy to manage starvation, not end it, and to establish forced facts on the ground under the fire of bombing and hunger. It endangers the lives of civilians and humiliates their dignity, instead of providing them with protection and comprehensive relief.
The movement emphasized that the only way to end the brutal crime of starvation in the Gaza Strip is through the use of force. It is to stop the aggression, break the criminal siege imposed on it, and fully and permanently open the land crossings to humanitarian aid, ensuring its flow and delivery to citizens, in accordance with the mechanisms approved by the United Nations.
It stated that the steps taken by the government of the war criminal Netanyahu to impose inhumane realities and mechanisms to control aid and manage starvation, which have resulted in the deaths of more than 1,000 civilians and the wounding of approximately 6,000, constitute flagrant war crimes.
It stressed the importance of continuing official and popular international pressure to break the siege and stop the crime of starvation and brutal genocide, and to not be swayed by the misleading propaganda of the fascist enemy government.
