The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that its forces' strikes hit workshops for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and sites for controlling long-range drones belonging to the Ukrainian army.
The Russia Today website quoted the ministry in its daily report as saying: “Temporary deployment points of Ukrainian army formations and foreign mercenaries in 146 areas were also targeted.”
According to Russian defense data, the total daily losses of the Ukrainian army on various fronts amounted to about 1,210 military personnel, with Ukraine losing:
“More than 170 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the ‘North’ group of forces in Sumy and Kharkiv; more than 225 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the ‘West’ forces in Kharkiv and Donetsk; around 130 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the ‘South’ forces in Donetsk; more than 425 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the ‘Center’ forces in Donetsk; more than 200 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the ‘East’ forces in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia; and more than 60 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the ‘Dnieper’ forces in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.”
Russian air defenses also shot down two guided aerial bombs, three rockets from the Czech-made Vampire multiple launch rocket system, and 291 hostile drones.
