Hebron / Bethlehem – Saba:
Several Palestinian civilians suffered from tear gas inhalation on Saturday evening as Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian man in Bethlehem Governorate, in the occupied West Bank.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), local media activist Mohammed Awad reported that Israeli soldiers raided the town and forced shop owners in the Al-Bayada neighborhood to close their businesses. They also blocked vehicle movement, detained and interrogated a number of young men, and fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters, resulting in dozens of suffocation cases among residents.

In a related development, Israeli settlers continued their assaults on Palestinian farmers in Beit Ummar, forcing them to leave their land in the Wadi al-Sheikh area. Additionally, Israeli soldiers detained several farmers, interrogated them, and threatened them with arrest should they return to their lands.

Separately, Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian man on Saturday evening in the village of Umm Salamuna in Bethlehem Governorate.

Security sources said that the Israeli forces detained Mohammad Issa Khader Taqatqa near the roundabout of the illegal “Efrat” settlement, which is built on Palestinian land south of Bethlehem. The soldiers also seized his vehicle.
