Infant Hud Arafat died this morning, Saturday, as a result of malnutrition and a lack of milk.
According to medical sources, the number of children who have died from malnutrition and starvation since yesterday has risen to three, bringing the number of martyrs from starvation in the Gaza Strip to 124, following the deaths of 11 more in the past 28 hours.
Medical sources said that 84 children were among the victims of the starvation policy perpetrated by Israeli enemy forces in the Gaza Strip, after the deaths of two infants due to starvation and malnutrition in the Strip were announced yesterday.
It is noteworthy that cases of malnutrition and starvation are arriving at hospitals in Gaza at any moment. 900,000 children in Gaza are suffering from hunger, 70,000 of whom have entered a state of malnutrition.
It is noteworthy that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition among children under the age of five had doubled between March and June as a result of the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
