Warsaw - Saba:
The head of the Parliamentary Friendship Committee with the Palestinian People, Polish MP Maciej Konieczny, criticized his country's position on the war of extermination being perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.
During a parliamentary session on Friday, Konieczny said, "Many countries have begun calling for sanctions against Israel, as the Spanish Prime Minister has called for the suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement."
He noted that "in contrast, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Szykorski is merely expressing 'concern,' while Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kuczniak-Kamisz is signing new military agreements with Israel."
Konieczny added to Parliament, "Deputy Prime Minister, under your government, Poland is concealing the shame of its collaboration with a criminal regime and is not taking action regarding the ongoing genocide. What is considered a duty towards Russia must also be towards Israel." The Polish MP asserted that, "Israel continues its war of extermination in the Gaza Strip before the eyes of the world, deliberately starving the Palestinians, while hundreds of trucks loaded with food are stuck at the border, refusing to allow them entry."
"The Israeli occupation army is shooting at hungry people gathered in front of food distribution centers. (They are being killed, starved, and injured, amidst the world's silence.) Hundreds of thousands of wounded and hungry children are waiting for food and safety, while we watch and monitor unprecedented crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army."
Konecny stated that the facts and realities cannot be denied, asking: Where are the sanctions on "Israel"? And when will Poland begin prosecuting war criminals?
