Khan Yunis - Saba:
Nasser Medical Complex announced last night the death of an infant from the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, due to starvation and malnutrition.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, the complex stated that the six-month-old infant, Zainab Abu Haleeb, died due to the starvation policy pursued by the enemy.
On Friday, the Ministry of Health reported nine new deaths in the Gaza Strip due to starvation and malnutrition within 24 hours.
The ministry indicated that the total number of deaths resulting from starvation and malnutrition has risen to 122 since the start of the Israeli aggression, including 83 children.
On Thursday, the Ministry of Health reported that 26,677 cases of malnutrition were registered, while indicating that there are more than 260,000 children under the age of five in need of food.
