Hebron - Saba:
A Palestinian young man was killed on Friday evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces south of Hebron.

The Ministry of Health reported that the Civil Affairs Authority informed them of the death of Wadi Mohammed Othman Samamra (19), who was shot by the occupation forces near the town of Adh-Dhahiriya, with his body being withheld.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) stated that enemy forces raided Adh-Dhahiriya with several military vehicles and stormed the martyr’s home in the Al-Baha area.

Earlier, security and local sources reported that the occupation forces shot Samamra with live ammunition near the "Shamaa" settlement, built on lands belonging to the towns of Adh-Dhahiriya and As-Samu, south of Hebron, under the pretext of an alleged stabbing attempt. He was arrested while injured, and the occupation declared the area a closed military zone, increasing its presence there.

WAFA noted that the martyr, Wadi, is the brother of the martyr Sanad, who was killed by settlers’ gunfire in the same location on January 11, 2023. His body was also held by the occupation before being handed over on April 3, 2023, allowing his family to bury him.

In a separate security development, a child was injured by settlers’ gunfire on Friday evening in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

Eyewitnesses told WAFA that a group of settlers stormed Al-Mughayyir from its eastern side, advanced toward the village’s kindergarten area, and opened fire at civilians, injuring a 14-year-old child with a live bullet in his leg.

Following this attack, Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Mughayyir and conducted foot patrols between citizens’ houses.
