The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement congratulated the veteran prisoner George Ibrahim Abdallah on his release, hailing his triumph over decades of injustice and his steadfast adherence to his heroic and courageous stances in support of the Palestinian cause and the resistance.
In a press statement issued Friday and received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the movement described Abdallah as “a symbol of Palestinian and global struggle against Zionist and American oppression and tyranny.”
The statement extended congratulations to his family, supporters, comrades, and the Lebanese and Palestinian people on this well-deserved and long-overdue freedom, which rekindles hope in the hearts of thousands of prisoners still held in the enemy’s prisons.
