Kuwait - Saba:

Kuwait SC officially announced on Thursday the signing of Egyptian midfielder Sam Morsy from English club Ipswich Town. This deal marks the veteran player's first foreign transfer.

An official statement from the Kuwaiti club stated that it had reached a final agreement with Ipswich Town for the transfer of Morsy, 33, to the team after a long career in English football.

For its part, Ipswich Town announced the departure of its captain Sam Morsy after four years wearing the team's jersey, during which he contributed significantly to the club's promotion to the English Premier League, before being relegated again this season.

Morsy played 165 matches with Ipswich in various competitions, scoring 11 goals, and was one of the team's most prominent players both technically and in leadership.

Morsi's move to Kuwait marks his first professional experience outside of England. Throughout his career, he played for several clubs in England, most notably Wigan Athletic, Chesterfield, and Barnsley.

Morsi is one of the few Egyptian players born and raised in England before choosing to represent the Pharaohs. He made his international debut in 2016 and has appeared in several international matches, but has been absent from the squad in recent years.
