Sa'ada - Saba:
The Republican Hospital Authority and the Military Medical Services Unit in Sa'ada province organized a commemorative event on Thursday marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid ibn Ali, peace be upon them both.
The event was attended by Shura Council member Hadi al-Hamzi and Deputy Director of the Republican Hospital for Financial and Administrative Affairs Dr. Ali al-Hamzi.
In his address, Dr. Kamal al-Houthi, Deputy Director for Medical Affairs, highlighted key aspects of Imam Zaid's virtuous life and his courageous struggle against injustice.
He drew parallels between the betrayal Imam Zaid faced during his time and the current silence of the Arab and Islamic world amid the brutal killing and starvation of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Dr. al-Houthi emphasized that Imam Zaid's revolution was rooted in Quranic principles aimed at confronting tyranny and oppression.
He noted that it was a continuation of the uprising led by his grandfather, Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and carried the same noble values during a critical period in the history of the Islamic nation.
