Amran courts settled over 9 thousand lawsuits in one year

Amran - Saba:

The Court of Appeal and its affiliated primary courts in Amran Governorate adjudicated 9,496 cases out of a total of 15,360 cases pending before them during the past judicial year 1446 AH, while 5,846 cases were postponed to the current judicial year 1447 AH.

Statistics issued by the Court of Appeal indicated that the 17 primary courts, in addition to the criminal court in the governorate center and the juvenile court, completed 6,095 cases out of a total of 6,265 cases referred to them. The statistics indicated that the number of cases referred to the Court of Appeal in its various civil, criminal, and personal appeal divisions amounted to 3,034 cases, of which 1,477 were adjudicated and decided, while 1,539 cases were postponed to the current judicial year.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Judge Ahmed Sharaf al-Din, President of the Court of Appeal in the province, emphasized the importance of redoubling efforts to resolve all cases, especially those that are stalled, and to reduce their backlog.

He also emphasized the importance of adjudicating and deciding all cases promptly, ending any delays or deportations except for extreme reasons.

He pointed out the need to work to overcome the current challenges caused by the ongoing aggression and blockade, and its targeting of the Judicial Complex building.
