Hajjah University organised a speech event to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zayd, peace be upon him.
At the event, Abdulmajid Sharaf al-Din, a member of the Yemen Scholars Association, stressed the importance of following the path of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, in his revolution, approach, morals and movement for the sake of Allah.
He pointed out the importance of taking lessons from the revolution of the ally of the Quran in correcting concepts and mobilising the nation to move against tyrants, whatever the circumstances.
He pointed out the importance of commemorating this anniversary, which is associated with a great personality that has a great impact on the history and life of the Islamic nation until today. He also pointed out that the Yemeni people commemorate this anniversary and sincerely express their adherence to the correct faith approach and the approach of the Great Prophet (PBUH), his family and the flags of guidance.
The member of the Yemeni Scholars Association reviewed the merits of Imam Zaud, peace be upon him, his heroism, knowledge, piety and his fragrant biography, which has been and continues to inspire generations throughout the ages.
He touched on the conspiracies and plots against the Ummah since the dawn of Islam until today, the challenges, massacres and war of annihilation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist enemy with the support of the US and Europe.
Dr Yousef Al-Sabah, Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, pointed out the importance of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, to remember his biography and follow his path in the face of injustice and oppression.
He reviewed part of Imam Zaid's biography and his piety and connection to the Holy Quran. He pointed to the purposes of his revolution in raising awareness and breaking the state of stagnation and submission to the tyrants and enemies of the nation.
